Water Drops at 2000 FPS!

Take a look at these water drops at 2000 frames per second.  That’s super-smooth slow-motion.  What used to be boring water drops now becomes something quite incredible.  We never pay attention to the small details in life, but look a little closer and world seems a lot bigger that it looks.  Even cooler is the fact, that we can explain what we are seeing with a little bit of scientific knowledge.  Listen to the scientist in the video explain what is going on.  We’ve already learned quite a bit about surface tension held together by hydrogen bonds.  Try and predict what you would see if we used ethanol (much lower surface tension) drops instead.
